7.00 A.M – Pick up from the hotel in Kandy or Kitulgala and transfer to Nuwara eliya. En route visit St. Clare & Devon waterfalls – two of the attractive waterfalls in Sri Lanka where you will meet at Talawakele. 12:00: Arrive at Nuwara Eliya and enjoy lunch at a Local Restaurant (Direct Payment). After Lunch, you will proceed to visit Pedro tea factory and tea plantation. If you wish, you may also involve in plucking tea with estate workers. Later, you will do a boat ride in Gregory Lake and enjoy a city tour in Nuwara Eliya. Overnight stay at a 3 Star hotel in Nuwara Eliya on Bed & Breakfast Basis.
6.00 A.M -Make a pre-dawn start with a packed breakfast to Horton Plains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site 7.30 A.M - Take a guided walk along the nature trails to a viewpoint known as World’s End. A variety of wildlife including endemic Rhino-horned and Hump-nosed Lizards, highland bird species including the Sri Lanka White-eye, Dull-blue Flycatcher, Sri Lanka Bush Warbler, Yellow-eared Bulbul may be encountered. Also, keep your eye out for troops of Bear Monkey, and Sambar (Sri Lanka’s largest species of deer) which are regularly seen on the plains close to the entrance. 2.00 P.M. Arrive back and transfer to your nest destination.
