Colombo - Nuwara Eliya
07:30: You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Kandy. 11:00: Arrive at Kandy and visit the Kandy Temple which is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. 12:30: Arrive at Oak ray Restaurant for lunch. If you are interested, you can visit a wood carving center and gem lapidary after lunch. 14:30: Leave Kandy and proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Ramboda Waterfalls. In the evening you can enjoy a city of Nuwara Eliya including a visit to Gregory Lake park. Known as Little England, the town of Nuwara Eliya enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. Dinner & Overnight at a 4 Star hotel in Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya - Nuwara Eliya
6:00 Make a pre-dawn start to Horton Plains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site 7:30 Take a guided walk along the park's nature trails to a viewpoint known as World’s End. You may encounter a variety of wildlife including endemic Rhino-horned and Hump-nosed Lizards, highland bird species including the Sri Lanka White-eye, Dull-blue Flycatcher, Sri Lanka Bush Warbler, Yellow-eared Bulbul. Also keep your eye out for troops of Bear Monkey, and Sambar (Sri Lanka’s largest species of deer) which are regularly seen in the plains close to the entrance. You will continue your journey up to Baker's Falls, named after the famous explorer, Sir Samuel Baker. 14:00 Arrive back to Nuwara Eliya for lunch at a local restaurant. 15:30 Visit the Tea Plantation and Pedro Tea Factory to learn about tea production and its significance to the Sri Lankan economy. You will be able to engage with a tea plucking experience during this visit. Dinner & Overnight at a 4 Star hotel in Nuwara Eliya

Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation. Pick up time and the time duration will be changed according to the Pickup location.
- Please wear clothes to cover your shoulders and knees when you are visiting the Kandy Temple

Our guide/driver was very pleasant and respected our wishes about everything we wanted to do. He even called his daughter to help us find a song we liked. The trip also promised 4 star hotels and it really delivered beyond our expectations in this regard. The hotels were very good and well situated, with good food and staff. We appreciated that we got to see a lot of things in a limited time, and that the return back to Colombo was included in the tour.
