HALPEWATTE TEA FACTORY

The Factory provides a range of supreme quality tea using the latest manufacturing techniques. The tour of the tea factory lasts for two hours beginning with a short lecture on the types of tea and the processing methods, which will go into the various stages and machinery in the actual working factory.The factory operates in the morning only, due to the climatic conditions and the appropriate time to commence the tour is around 9.00 a.m. The morning tours will help to get a better picture of the tea processing concept.

The tour will usually end with the sampling of a cup of hot tea on the top floor and this floor gives you a panoramic view of the vast stretch of mountains and tea bushes.
