Katunayaka Airport - Kandy

• On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and proceed to Kandy where your pekoe adventure begins. On arrival, your will check-in to hotel and stay at leisure. • Spend overnight at Hotel in Kandy on Bed & Breakfast Basis.

2 Day

Kandy - Loolkandura

•08.00: Breakfast from the hotel and leave to the Hanthana for start your trekking. •09.00: Strat the trekking. •Check in to the hotel and overnight stay in Loolkandura. The first two stages of The Pekoe Trail offer an unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka’s lush tea country. Starting at the Ceylon Tea Museum, Stage 1 takes you on a 12.8 km trek through the serene Hanthana Tea Estate, with breathtaking views of the Hanthana peaks, Knuckles Mountains, and a cinematic mountain facade from Indiana Jones. A stop in Kithulmulla provides a taste of local avocados before concluding at Galaha. Stage 2 continues with a 14.7 km hike through estate roads, vibrant markets, and towering pine forests toward Loolkandura, Sri Lanka’s first tea plantation. Loolkandura - Thalawatenne

Stage 3 of The Pekoe Trail takes you on a 5-hour, 45-minute, 18.11 km trek starting at Loolkandura Estate, one of Sri Lanka’s oldest tea plantations. The journey follows the historic Dimbula road, offering glimpses of the past, as you pass through lush tea trails. Scenic views of the Kotmale Valley, Rilagala range, and, on clear days, Adam's Peak, accompany you toward Stellenberg Estate. The shimmering Kotmale Reservoir and the Ramboda Pass and waterfall provide stunning natural landmarks. The trek concludes in the vibrant town of Tawalantenne, leaving you with memories of the region's rich history and breathtaking landscapes.

Thalawatenne - Pundaluoya
