Colombo - Mirissa
Start your journey with an early pick-up from either the airport or your Colombo hotel, then travel towards Mirissa. Along the way, visit a turtle hatchery farm to learn about sea turtle conservation and see baby turtles. Next, stop at Kande Viharaya Temple in Ambalangoda to admire its impressive Buddha statues and intricate carvings. Continue to the Ambalangoda Mask Factory to observe traditional mask-making techniques and shop for unique masks. Proceed to Galle for a tour of the historic Galle Fort, known for its colonial architecture and scenic coastal views. Conclude your day with a transfer to your Mirissa hotel for check-in and a relaxing evening.

Begin your day with an early morning whale watching tour, where you’ll have the opportunity to see majestic blue whales and other marine giants in their natural habitat. After returning from the tour, rest and freshen up at your hotel. Check out and then transfer to your next destination: Colombo or Negombo (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours), the airport (for your departure), or Tissamaharama (about 3.5 hours), depending on your travel plans.
