You will be picked-up from by a tuk-tuk from your hotel in Colombo by your personal tour guide and proceed to the starting point of the lake fishing tour.

You will be taken to a lake jetty in Bolgoda, where you will start your fishing tour with fishing gears with the Beyond Escapes Team. This is a fantastic hotspot for inland fishing. The stunning Bolgoda Lake is rich in bio diversity, where it boasts of 45 different types of fish, 40 types of reptiles, 15 kinds of amphibians and 31 types of mammals. This lake is declared as the largest and most beautiful natural lake in the island. The birds exist in the surrounding area of the lake. Bolgoda is wonderful destinations for green tourist. Go with few fishing sessions and you will encounter so many popular varieties of fish like Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Bull eyed Mackerel, smaller Travilly and Barracudas during your fishing expedition. After a few sessions of fishing you will be taken to an island in the middle of the lake for a BBQ Dinner. You will be having the BBQ by the lake in the island under the shades of starts. This will leave you lifetime memories.
