Make a pre-dawn start to Horton Plains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Take a guided walk along the park's nature trails to a viewpoint known as World’s End. You may encounter a variety of wildlife including endemic Rhino-horned and Hump-nosed Lizards, highland bird species including the Sri Lanka White-eye, Dull-blue Flycatcher, Sri Lanka Bush Warbler, Yellow-eared Bulbul. Also keep your eye out for troops of Bear Monkey, and Sambar (Sri Lanka’s largest species of deer) which are regularly seen in the plains close to the entrance. You will continue your journey up to Baker's Falls, named after the famous explorer, Sir Samuel Baker.

Arrive back to Nuwara Eliya for lunch. Enjoy your lunch at the Summer Hill Breeze Hotel.

Visit the Tea Plantation and Pedro Tea Factory to learn about tea production and its significance to the Sri Lankan economy. You will be able to engage with a tea plucking experience during this visit.

This was definitely the best thing we did in Nurawa Eliya! Charith was the perfect guide - he?s very friendly and knowledgeable, and took us on routes we?d never have found on our own. We loved the tea factory and would definitely recommend adding on this part of the tour. Overall it?s quite an expensive day but we think it?s worth it.

Loved loved loved it - from the hotel pick up in a spotless & comfortable vehicle to the hike to worlds end, bakers falls & little worlds end, the visit & tour of the tea estate & finally the 360 view of 4 waterfalls, it was wonderful.

It was indeed one of the best holidays we had. Right from enquiry stage to the final goodbye. Each and every aspect was well taken care of and very personalised. Sumudu is extremely cooperative and I must confess passionate. Our driver was very well versed with the restaurants and places to visit.
