Are you interested in getting away from the busy city and exploring the beautiful countryside of Sri Lanka on an exciting cycling tour? In Sri Lanka, the cultures, customs, lifestyle and language are very different from province to province. Bentota is coastal town in Sri Lanka and cycling there is much more than just a paddling ride. Imagine you are exploring Sri Lanka by cycling through beautiful paddy fields, crossing rivers and other scenic places during the tour. Total cycling distance would be 30 Km and approx. four to five hours.

Meet you cycling guide at your hotel lobby in Beruwela or Bentota and start an exciting cycling tour in the countryside of Bentota.
9:00
You will continue your journey through the Tea and rubber plantation to a river where you will use a local Perry to cross the river with cycles. You will be able to witness many birds and land monitors in the river banks whilst enjoying a light refreshment with king coconut. The first phase of cycling will be 14 kilometers in a flat terrain.

The second phase of cycling will start just after the refreshment. You will cycle another 8 kilometers passing some beautiful countryside attractions and cinnamon gardens before reaching a small lagoon where you are going to have your second refreshment. After your refreshments, you will cycle approx 6-8 kilometers through the village to Bentota, passing some wonderful scenery with paddy fields.
