You will be picked up from your hotel by an Air-conditioned vehicle and driven to Wasgamuwa.

Boasting 23 mammal species, 143 bird species, 35 reptile species, 15 amphibian species, 17 fish species, and 52 butterfly species, the park offers unparalleled opportunities for exploration. From iconic Asian elephants to elusive sloth bears, visitors can spot a variety of fascinating creatures, including leopards, golden jackals, water buffalos, slender lorises, wild boars, and various deer species. Moreover, the park is home to eight endemic bird species such as the Yellow-fronted barbet and red-faced malkoha, adding to its allure as a nature lover's paradise.

The all-inclusive safari at Wasgamuwa National Park was fantastic. We were lucky to see a herd of elephants and many other animals in their natural habitat.
