Itinerary
DAY 01
YOUR HOTEL / BELIHULOYA
07:30
You will be picked up from your hotel in selected cities (Colombo; Negombo or Mount Lavinia) and moved to the nature paradise - Belihul Oya. You will be driven approximately for 04 hours to reach Belihuloya.
12:00
Arrive at the camping location with the warm welcome of Beyond Escapes Camping Team. Spend couple of hours at leisure after enjoying your lunch.
15:00
Get ready to experience the nature at its best. You will do a walking trail where you will meet a picturesque waterfall at the end of the trail, to proceed with some adventurous water based activities like confidence jump, sliding down on the waterfalls and swimming. Walk whilst discovering the wonder of nature and don't forget to capture the stunning views around!
18:30
When finished the evening session, you will be moved back to the camping location. Refresh your souls before enjoying your BBQ dinner in an outside location under the stars. Spend the overnight at a standard mobile camping tent.
DAY 02
BELIHULOYA / DROP-OFF

After a restful sleep in the nature paradise, wake-up early in the morning and witness the sunshine over the mountains.

Enjoy a truly Sri Lankan yet personalized breakfast at the campsite.

Following breakfast, proceed with a nature trail. Belihuloya is a very picturesque little hamlet renowned for its Eco-tourism richness. Nature trails is an ideal way to enjoy the nature of Belihuloya that has many things to offer. This trail is one of the numerous adventure and trekking programmes we operate in Belihuloya. This experience has been created in order to provide you the best nature and adventure experience that no one can offer with all acceptable green practices.

Arrive back at the camping location and get refreshed before leaving back to your drop off location (We will arrange free drop off to your next destination. Please see the inclusions section for details)

Cancellation Policy
- To receive a full refund, traveler should cancel the tour 8 days prior to the travel date in the local time zone. If the booking is cancelled within 7 – 4 Days prior to the arrival date, 50% cancellation charge will be applied. 100% cancellation charge will be applied for all the cancellation received less than 3 days prior to the arrival date.
Know before you go
- Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
- Roundtrip transportation is available from most hotels in Selected Cities. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.
- Gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
- Adult Price is applicable for all the participants.
- At least 02 people are required for this activity to take place.
- This is an adventure base camping experience that has the basic amenities for lodging.
- Please bring trekking shoes, comfortable clothing and swimming wear.
- Each client has to plant 3 trees in the selected locations.
- Each guest should collect all plastic and polyethene garbage during the trekking and give them to the camp manager or naturalist.
- Please don’t bring plastic bottles, polyethene bags and any other garbage materials to the campsite.
- Belihuloya has 2 types of climates prevailing, namely the tropical rainforest climate and tropical savanna climate. The highest average temperature in Belihuloya is 28°C in march and the lowest is 25°C in January.
