Sri Lanka make an advancing push to recover Chinese tourist market
Sri Lanka is making an aggressive push to recapture the Chinese tourist market. Sri Lankan authorities have now encouraged countless Chinese trip specialists to visit the country, during a discussion had with a few chinese journalists who visited Sri Lanka recently. Sri Lanka Tourism promotion bureau said that the Chinese market is one of the key markets which bring large number of tourists to the country each year.
Chinese representatives consisting of 100 travel agents are now on a familiarization tour in Sri Lanka (01st - 07th July) and they have scheduled to visit cultural sites and also participate in a charity project in Colombo. Sri Lanka Torusim Bureau has stated that this will help to increase the Chinese tourist arrivals to the island.
These travel agents will be able to convey the message that now Sri Lanka has reachieved its place as number one and safe destination to travel in the world and now the gates are open!
